Custom kintsugi repairs.
Do you have a special ceramic that you’d like to have repaired with kintsugi? Here are some guidelines:
the ceramic must be glazed
All custom work begins at $75 + shipping for aluminum-based gold repair and $125 + shipping for 22k gold repair for simple breaks of three pieces total or less. All repairs require a minimum of 6 weeks. Costs and time required for a kintsugi repair increase as either the size of the ceramic and/or the total number of pieces increase.
Aluminum based gold color repairs are not food-safe.
22k gold repairs are food safe. Gentle hand washing recommended. Oily foods (ie cream or half and half), repeated stirring/scraping with a utensil, and use of microwave not recommended. I cannot guarantee that any repair will be leak proof.
